Al-Husseiniya Youth Forum Hosts Karate Champions: Intensive Preparations for the 18th Iraq Championship .................. Karbala, Iraq As part of the ongoing preparations for the anticipated 18th Iraq ShinKyokushinkai Karate Championship, scheduled for next September, the Al-Husseiniya Youth Forum, an affiliate of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, hosted an intensive training session on Thursday, August 28, 2025, with the participation of an elite group of the organization's members. The training session brought together more than 25 trainees from the youth and senior categories, hailing from the Martyrs Dojo (Al-Bughanim Branch) led by Coach Hussein Al-Ghanimi, and the Royal Lineage Dojo (Al-Ataishi Activities Branch) led by Sensei Dhurgham Ali Abdul Amir, Head of the Karbala Activities Department. Over several long hours, the training focused on multiple areas to ensure the champions' readiness for competition. It included specialized exercises in fighting and competition techniques, in addition to a session for exchanging expertise between coaches and trainees. The training also featured an important educational lecture on competition etiquette and how to control emotions on the fighting mat, with the goal of boosting the participants' morale.
