In Preparation for the 18th Iraq Championship: An Intensive Training Session Led by Sensei Riyad Aref to Enhance Champions' Skills ........ KARBLAA , Iraq As part of the final preparations for the 18th Iraq Shin Kyokushinkai Karate Championship, Sensei Riyad Aref Abdul Amir Al-Fattal, head of the Baghdad Activities Department, held an intensive training session for the organization's members on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. The training session, hosted at the "Samurai Shin Dojo," which is part of the Karbala Activities Department (Al-Wand Activities Branch), saw the participation of more than 25 members from the youth and senior categories. The exercises focused on enhancing participants' combat skills to ensure they can deliver their best performance in the anticipated championship. For several long hours, the training was filled with a spirit of enthusiasm, determination, and readiness for competition, in addition to a sense of brotherhood and energy among all participants. At the conclusion of the session, Sensei Riyad Aref met with the head of the Karbala Activities Department and the head of the Al-Wand Branch to establish a unified plan for exchanging expertise between the departments, intensifying training sessions within the branches according to a set timetable, and improving the members' physical and technical readiness before the tournament. ...........  .  .  . .  .  .
