Holy Karbala Media Office
In a remarkable sporting event reflecting martial arts unity and technical integration, Al-Shuhada Dojo (Al-Bughanim - Al-Jadwal Al-Gharbi), affiliated with the Karbala Activities Department of the Oyama Karate Organization, hosted a significant joint training session on Friday, March 27, 2026.
The session witnessed a high-level technical meeting between two distinct karate schools. The Al-Shuhada Dojo team (Shin Kyokushinkai), led by Sempai Hussein Jawad Al-Ghanimi, hosted a delegation from the Al-Sadda Sports Club Forum (Shotokan Karate), led by Coach Ali Mohammed Jassim.
The session brought together more than 40 male and female players of various ages and ranks, creating a rich interactive environment for skill exchange. The training curriculum featured diverse segments designed to enhance both physical and technical proficiency, including:
Kihon: Focusing on the precision and consistency of fundamental movements.
Combat Techniques: Intensive drills on engagement and field tactics.
Kata: Demonstrating technical performance and synchronized forms.
Endurance Training: Special segments to bolster stamina and physical toughness.
The training atmosphere was characterized by high enthusiasm and strict discipline. Organizers emphasized that the ultimate goal of such gatherings is to develop Iraqi players by exposing them to diverse martial arts philosophies, which fosters a more mature combat experience for the organization's champions.
At the conclusion of the event, participants expressed their pride in this cooperation, reaffirming that the Oyama Karate Organization remains a pioneer in opening horizons for growth and collaboration with all sporting institutions to raise Iraqs name high in the world of martial arts.
