The event was held at the heart of the capital, Baghdad, in the Baghdad Sports Center (Karrada District).Visionary Leadership and Massive Public TurnoutThe championship was organized and supervised by the Oyama Karate Organization, led by Shihan Iyad Al-Khafaji, Branch Chief of the World Karate Organization (WKO) in Iraq. The tournament saw extensive participation, with over 100 fighters from the organizations members, representing 8 dojos from the provinces of Baghdad, Karbala,and Dhi Qar. The stands were packed with fans and families, adding an extraordinary level of enthusiasm to the matches.Opening Ceremony and Official AddressThe event commenced with the Iraqi National Anthem, followed by a minute of silence in honor of Iraq's martyrs. In an eloquent opening speech, Eng. Salah Abdul Mahdi Shiyaa, Vice President of the Oyama Karate Organization, welcomed the attendees, emphasizing that the championship is a celebration of effort and sincerity.
