Oiyama Karate Organization's Baghdad Division Holds Special Training Unit to Enhance Player Skills and Exchange Expertise
......
Baghdad - In a step aimed at enhancing the exchange of expertise and refining players' skills,
the Baghdad Activities Division of the Oiyama Karate Organization conducted a distinguished joint training unit.
This was under the direct guidance of Shihan Ayad Al-Khafaji, President of the Organization,
and the direct supervision of Senpai Riyad Al-Fattal, Head of the Baghdad Activities Division.
The sports hall at Al-Noor Academy for Martial Arts in the Kadhimiya area (Khan Farman building)
hosted this important sports gathering, which witnessed active participation from players representing several branches affiliated with the division.
An elite group of players from the division's headquarters, who train at Al-Noor Academy
under the leadership of Senpai Karrar Azzawi, participated in the training unit.
They were joined by talented players from Al-Batool branch led by Senpai Ali Ahmed, the runner-up
in the open weight category for ShinKyokushinkai sport in Iraq, as well as distinguished players
from Al-Taji branch led by the Iraqi champions in ShinKyokushinkai for the lightweight category, Musa Hussein and Faris Hussein.
The training unit saw the participation of approximately 25 players of different ages and grades.
It is expected that the number of beneficiaries from this developmental activity
will reach around 50 ShinKyokushinkai Karate practitioners residing in the capital, Baghdad.
The joint training unit's program included a variety of basic exercises (Kihon) and advanced Karate techniques,
in addition to providing players with the opportunity for direct interaction and applying their skills
through friendly bouts and sparring. The organizers did not overlook an important aspect of the sport,
as the training unit included a practical explanation of some refereeing rules under
the supervision of the esteemed referee, Senpai Mustafa Al-Kubaisi, contributing to raising the refereeing awareness among the players.
This training unit comes within the framework of the Oiyama Karate Organization's continuous endeavor
to elevate the level of ShinKyokushinkai sport in Iraq, and to provide a stimulating training
environment that contributes to developing players' capabilities and exchanging experiences among its various affiliated branches.
