Joyful Ceremony in Kadhimiya Marks Resumption of Duties
for Oyama Karate Baghdad Section Head

BAGHDAD : On Thursday, May 22, 2025, the sports hall
of Al-Noor Martial Arts Academy in the holy city of Kadhimiya
(Khan Farman) witnessed a joyous and modest ceremony hosted by
the Oyama Karate Organization Baghdad Activities Section.
This event celebrated
Mr. Riyad Aref Abdul Amir Al-Fattal's
official commencement of his duties as the Head of the Baghdad Activities Section.The ceremony was attended by a select group of coaches,
friends, players, and trainees, both affiliated and non-affiliated
with the Oyama Karate Organization, all expressing their support
and appreciation. Notable attendees included
Mr. Dhergham Ali Abdul Amir, Head of the Karbala Activities Section;
Mr. Amir Sadiq, Head of Al-Wand Activities Branch;
in addition to Professor Uday Jarrah; Professor Wissam,
Director of Al-Noor Academy; Senpai Ali Ahmed,
Head of Al-Batoul Activities Branch; Senpai Karrar Al-Azzawi;
and several other esteemed coaches and instructors.
At the conclusion of the event, an atmosphere of joy and
welcome prevailed as cake and juice were distributed to the
attendees, and commemorative photos were taken to
document this special occasion. Immediately following the
ceremony, Professor Riyad Al-Fattal began overseeing
the section's training units, signaling the start of a new
phase of dedicated work aimed at developing karate activities in Baghdad.
