Oyama Karate Organization Inaugurates a New Era: First Batch of Trainees Successfully Graduates in Al-Kadhimiya Under Modern Regulations and Standards ...................................... Al-Kadhimiya Holy City, Iraq, [Publication Date - 11 - 7 - 2025 ] In a significant achievement that underscores its commitment to elevating the standard of ShinKyokushinkai Karate , the Oyama Karate Organization concluded a series of specialized training courses on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 . These courses culminated in successful belt promotion tests at Al-Noor Martial Arts Academy, specifically at Al-Za'eem Dojo in the holy city of Al-Kadhimiya. These courses and tests were held under the direct supervision of Ustadh Instructor Riyadh Arif Abdul Amir, Head of the Baghdad Activities Department and a certified instructor in the Organization. They were meticulously organized by the Baghdad Activities Department, represented by the Al-Kadhimiya Activities Branch, which has shown remarkable activity in the region. To ensure the highest standards of evaluation and quality, a selection of esteemed Black Belt holders and champions in Shin Kyokushinkai Karate contributed to organizing and overseeing the tests. Prominent among them were Champion Musa Hussein, Iraq's champion in the under-60 kg category, his runner-up Champion Hussein Majed, Open Weight runner-up Champion Ali Ahmed Al-Sayed, and Youth Lightweight Champion Hadi Iyad. A group of Black Belt holders and advanced belt practitioners, including instructors Karrar Al-Azzawi, Ridha Jassim, and Malek, along with other karateka who have competed in numerous previous competitions, also participated in the supervision and follow-up, adding invaluable technical depth and practical experience to the tests. The final tests, which reflected seriousness and a distinguished technical level, saw the participation of eight trainees who delivered impressive performances, all successfully meeting the requirements. Belt promotions were distributed as follows: Three trainees successfully passed the promotion tests for the Orange Belt. Three other trainees successfully passed the promotion tests for the Blue Belt. Two trainees successfully passed the promotion tests for the Yellow Belt. These trainees demonstrated their commitment by fulfilling the required timeframes for each promotion according to the "General Curriculum for Certified Instructors in the Oyama Karate Organization." They also passed the tests flawlessly, adhering to the international standards approved by the World Karate Organization (WKO) for Shin Kyokushinkai Karate. This graduating batch is considered the first and pioneering group to complete their training within the Oyama Karate Organization since the General Assembly approved a comprehensive set of modern regulations and standards governing the organization of courses and championships, thereby ensuring the highest levels of quality and professionalism in all activities. With this achievement, the Oyama Karate Organization provides tangible proof of its commitment to developing karate and qualifying a new generation of dedicated and skilled athletes, in accordance with the highest local and international standards. Congratulations to the successful trainees and to the Baghdad Activities Department for this outstanding work
