Successful Conclusion of Advanced ShinKyokushinkai Karate Promotion
Courses and Examinations : Public Enthusiasm and International Oversight

The capital, Baghdad , specifically in the Holy city of Kadhimiya ,
witnessed the impressive conclusion of a series of intensive
training courses and advanced promotion examinations in ShinKyokushinkai Karate .
Al-Noor Martial Arts Academy , known as " Al-Za'eem Dojo "
hosted this significant event organized by the Oyama Karate Organization
yesterday, Sunday, July 20, 2025.
The courses culminated in the formation of a high-level examination committee ,
personally chaired by Shihan Ayad Al-Khafaji , Head of the Iraq Branch
of the World Karate Organization for ShinKyokushinkai .
Shihan Al-Khafaji meticulously supervised and monitored
the examinations remotely from Berlin , Germany , via the internet ,
thereby reaffirming the strict international standards upheld
by the organization . The committee included as
a member Instructor Riyad Aref Abdul Amir ,
Head of the Baghdad Activities Department at Oyama Karate Organization ,
who diligently ensured the precise execution of Shihan's directives
and the professional application of all examination segments .
Furthermore, the Head of the Financial and Administrative Department
of the Oyama Karate Organization participated to audit the participants'
credentials and ensure their full compliance with all previously
approved conditions and regulations .
Several members of the Oyama Karate Organization's Board of Directors
were also present to observe the examination process.
Al-Noor Martial Arts Academy was packed with a vast public audience
of martial arts enthusiasts and practitioners, who gathered to
witness these exceptional examinations, which extended for over six continuous hours .
The Oyama Karate Organization estimated the number
of non-participating attendees at more than 75 individuals ,
a clear indication of the growing interest and significant appeal of ShinKyokushinkai Karate.
The examinations included an elite group of instructors ,
assistant instructors, and athletes from various advanced grades.
Seven instructors from the Baghdad Activities Department,
whose instructor accreditation applications are pending,
participated in the Dan examinations, along with one instructor from
the Karbala Activities Department. The advanced belt examinations
also saw the participation of five assistant instructors from
the Baghdad Activities Department and five others from
the Karbala Activities Department, whose accreditation
applications are also pending, in addition to a group of advanced belt practitioners and trainees.
The examination segments featured a comprehensive display of skills,
including the precise and highly focused performance of "Kata,"
challenging "Breaking" techniques that showcased the participants'
physical and mental fortitude, and culminating in the inspiring
"20-Man Kumite" test for each participant, which represents
the ultimate challenge and reflects the fighting spirit and determination.
Attendees' personal phone cameras continuously captured footage
throughout the examinations, especially during the breaking
and 20-man kumite segments. Commemorative photos and video clips
spread widely across social media platforms in a manner that
the organization found difficult to contain or quantify.
Despite the broadcasting and filming restrictions imposed by
the organization, the public's desire to document and share
this extraordinary event surpassed all control,
testifying to the excitement and passion it generated.
At the conclusion of the examinations, attendees and participants
exchanged congratulations and well wishes, and took commemorative photos,
documenting these pivotal moments in their martial arts journey.
The Oyama Karate Organization reaffirms its ongoing
commitment to supporting and developing the talents of its members,
in accordance with the highest international standards of ShinKyokushinkai Kar
