In a proactive step to enhance the technical and physical readiness of its champions, the Baghdad Activities Department of the Oyama Karate Organization conducted
an intensive training session for youth categories on Sunday, May 3, 2026. The session was held at the Al-Faisaly outdoor stadium in the Al-Taji district (Al-Hassan Al-Askari neighborhood).This training unit is part of an intensive preparatory program for the upcoming
2nd Iraq Full Contact Karate Championship and the 19th Iraq Shin Kyokushinkai Karate Championship.Elite Technical SupervisionThe session was supervised by Sensei Riyadh Arif Abdul Amir Al-Fattal
(Head of Baghdad Activities), with the active participation of the organization’s elite Iraqi champions:Sempai Karrar Hassan Jameel (Iraq’s Kata Champion).

The session featured more than 25 fighters from "Al-Abtal" Dojo and "Al-Zaeem" Dojo. The training curriculum focused on:Kata Simulations: Designed to enhance physical responsiveness and deepen technical expertise among the practitioners.Combat Simulations (Kumite):
Aimed at elevating direct combat interaction and facilitating the exchange of field experience.Regulatory Updates: In accordance with the directives of Shihan Iyad Al-Khafaji (Branch Chief of the World Karate Organization - WKO in Iraq), players were introduced to the latest international
rule amendments that will be implemented in the 19th Championship. This ensures they are fully prepared to meet global standards in future international participation.Community Impact and Full ReadinessThe participants expressed their satisfaction with the high level of organization,
affirming their complete readiness for the upcoming competitions under the banner of the Oyama Karate Organization. The organization estimates that more than 50 individuals from Baghdad province benefited directly from this activity, in addition to the broad positive impact it has
